The Bigscreen Beyond, one of the most anticipated VR headsets in 2023, will likely not be in customers’ hands until late 2023. The headset is not only among the first custom-tailored premium VR headset, but also among the smallest and lightest headsets soon to be on the market.
However, as its manufacturer Bigscreen announced, “a series of manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain delays” are affecting the company’s original plan for distribution.
As the news site UploadVR highlights, “these delays mean that 80% of US preorders that had been set to ship in Q3 will actually ship some time in the next six weeks. The company says preorders that were set for Q4 are still on track, including international orders.”
